July 2010

Robert Beiny, founder of the Hearing Healthcare Practice in Harpenden, and recent winner of the European Audiologist of the Year Award, has been appointed Chairman of one of the Hearing Healthcare Industry’s leading Associations – AIHHP.

The Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP) is a group of leading hearing aid audiologists committed to promoting and maintaining the very highest professional and ethical standards in hearing healthcare. Membership is only open to fully qualified independent hearing aid audiologists who are dedicated to serving the needs of the hearing impaired of all ages.

As an AIHHP member each practitioner agrees to deliver an exemplary, unbiased service in audiological assessment, independent advice, expert fitting of hearing instruments and the security of quality long-term aftercare. Mandatory on-going training programmes in new technology, instrument methodology and audiological procedures ensure that patients can confidently receive the most up-to-date help available.

Robert Beiny said;

“I’m obviously delighted to have been appointed Chairman of AIHHP. I’m passionate about providing the very best in hearing healthcare and hearing conservation and I will work hard to promote AIHHP’s commitment to quality, professionalism and service excellence.

AIHHP’s strict Code of Practice sets standards which exceed those required of other hearing aid dispensers. Every member has adopted defined procedures in hearing healthcare practice management, using only the highest specification testing equipment in consulting rooms and demonstrating knowledge of the most sophisticated, state of the art hearing instrument systems.

The Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals is recognised by the Government and is consulted regarding national hearing healthcare policy.
